oh gross. they had the chance to finally get rid of those hideous helmets, and they change the color but keep the ugly logo?

Me too. Save for the helmet and weird coloring. If they can get the coloring right and bring back our helmets I'm fine with seeing it again.

Whats funny is most people want us to go back to our regular jerseys. Well those are the same jerseys that everyone hated when they changed them a few years back. So there actually asking to go back to the jersey they supposedly loathe. My theory is most people will love ANY jersey tOSU wears, it will grow on them after a few games. I think NIKE and tOSU knows this.

Maybe NIKE can build Tress a high tech lightweight sweatervest with built in dryerase markers slots, eye glass holders and a visor with a built in wireless HD audio headset. :tongue2:

Our road unis are not the problem. As for home unis, I want them to go back to the one they used before the one they have now.

I believe it was stated earlier in this thread that Nike will be taking our current jersey style and making them the Pro Combat style. Anyone think this is something we can expect to be showcased in the Rose Bowl? Especially if it is against Oregon, will give Nike a chance to showcase their state-of-the-art designs in a game everyone will be watching.

that is what i said a few pages earlier. it would make sense for both the school AND nike, but i really wouldnt want to see them wear those unis again. it would make sense to "recycle" those "throwbacks" since they honor the '54 rose bowl team, and we are playing in the rose bowl

Jersey's were fine. Helmets were fine ONE TIME. I actually like the shirt and pants better than our old shirt and pants. I think they would look good with the regular helmet. Maybe change the colors just A LITTLE bit so they would match.

What he means is, they will be taking the current style of jersey (ala the ones worn normally) and converting them into the "Pro Combat" style. Meaning that the jerseys will look like they do normally but they will be made with the materials and technology of the pro combat style. This is pretty much going to happen eventually it's just a question of whether it'll be ready for the Rose Bowl

The unis looked really good, but those helmets were crap. tOSU will look really smooth in the pro combat unis with the regular style of colors. I really hope they bring them out at the rose bowl. Let those silver bullets shine and then let the ducks choke on the nuts.

ya i already knew they were going to take the normal jerseys and convert those to the pro combat style...i was just answering someone elses question whether or not these unis would be worn again
