I don't think I can recall a recruit that more people have commented on the quality of character than Jordan is. I hope he comes to C-Bus and tears it up! However, regardless of how Jordan turns out as a College Football Player here or there, I think he will do very well in life from all accounts of him as a person.

Good luck on your decision Jordan.....but for the record Scarlet and Gray preferred! :biggrin:

We may not get either player, but the dignified, business-like manner that both Hicks and James have handled themselves in over the last several months has earned my appreciation. Refreshing in a recruiting world of self-hype, over-drama, and blatant game-playing from many top national recruits. In both cases, their well-grounded dispositions will serve them well in the future.

our guy took this picture of Hicks last night at West's thrilling 60-57 win over Colerain.
Hicks had 16 points in the victory...he also played POINT GUARD.

Hicks to announce college choice Friday

Press release from Lakota West:

Lakota West All-America football linebacker Jordan Hicks will announce his college choice this Friday, January 29 at a press conference held at the school at 12:30 p.m.

Hicks? final list includes three universities (in alphabetical order) ? Florida, Ohio State, and Texas.

The event will be held in the auxiliary gymnasium located near the front entrance of the school.

Lakota West coach Larry Cox will provide opening remarks, followed by an announcement from Hicks. Both will be available for questions at the conclusion of the announcement.

I love it that they know that people who follow recruiting are so crazed that they felt it necessary to include the parenthetical (in alphabetic order) before the list of schools he is considering.

It would be great to see Hicks pick the Buckeyes, but all ,or at least most of the signs indicate otherwise. Either way, I see a bright future for this kid. Here is to hoping for a victory for the good guys, but I wish him the best either way.

Best of luck to him wherever he goes, he seems like a great kid.

If its not OSU then I hope its Texas. Class program run by a class coach.

If it's UF well, he seems like a great kid.
