It would be totally out of character for Jordan to up and quit his basketball team.....so if he wants to enroll early it would have to be Spring Quarter at OSU....JMHO

some UF recruits are saying that hicks will be a gator. same rumor as floyd.

I'm surprised Florida has been able to keep their recruiting momentum after the Meyer retirement fiasco. I have heard a lot of talk about convincing recruits that he will be coaching next year. It seems to me that the bigger worry for guys such as Hicks & Floyd should be, who will be the coach 2-3-4 years down the road. A coach who was ready to hang it up for good this year because of health reasons is probably not a good bet to be there for their entire college career. I assume Meyer will coach in 2010 but have serious doubts after that. By coaching one more year he could save this recruiting class and get a succession plan in place. I think that way he would feel like he's leaving the program in good shape and could then tend to his health issues.

For clarity, Dave Berk's information (Scout Premium) didn't have him "committed to" anywhere- just news that a decision had supposedly been made.

100% true....I was just stating what was written in the rivals article by Brian Snow.....that there were contradictory reports that Jordan had "committed" to Texas and tOSU.

I am going to hate seeing this kid go to Florida if that is his choice. I can deal with Texas but not Florida. I hope pulls some magic with this kid or something. Not really a need at LB I guess but when you got a kid this good in state you have to keep him.

I seriously doubt he will be a Gator. Can't say why because of subscription rules.

Question......Hicks wants to be an EE still, correct? Didn't classes already start for OSU and UF, but not Texas yet? I remember someone posted something about that on here, but I couldn't find it, so I apologize for the needed redux.

Correct, Texas' second semester starts in the coming couple of weeks. At OSU he has until the fourth week of March before starting up Spring Quarter
