what the hell, I'll break it down for ya'll.
This is quite obviously a Vegetable Soup and not a gumbo.

the can opener suggests that this dirt worshipper used a can of fucking rotes in there (as well as what looks like corn)
is that some sort of beans or maybe Black-Eye peas floating around too?
other than the sausage, I see no protein or meat in this pic either
judging by color, no roux or even a file' was used
if they used a damn roux, they missed out on the greatest smell in the history of the planet by not using chopped onions to stop the roux from cooking when it was ready. (who the fuck just adds onion slices to this?)
also reasonably confident they used tap water and not any sort of broth for their liquid (or even slow cook your protein to create its own liquids).
