This is so fucking funny because I just switched back to Comcast from DirecTV and looked for this movie on their On Demand since I make my girlfriend* (*wife when you do the math) watch all the Clint Eastwood movies...:slappy:

Children of Men - love it
Funny People - I like it.. but it's pretty average given the cast.

Just got done watching Children of Men - had it on the DVR for a long time. Great film, tad depressing though. I will watch pretty much anything with Clive Owen. He's one of those super prolific actors, seems like he makes 3 films every year.

The Next Three Days. Russel Crowe is hands down my favorite actor. I don't think I've seen a movie he's been in that I don't like.

Got that from Netflix a couple months ago. I feel the same about Crowe, he really becomes whatever character he's playing. So many actors these days seem to adapt the character to their own style or personality or something. Great and very intense film, def worth a redbox or netflix.

And I saw Firefox in the theater - awesome Reagan era coldwar flick. Haha, fuck you, Russkies!

Couple quick facts I noticed while watching the movie:

1) John Ratzenberger (Cliff Clavin) from Cheers is part of the sumbarine crew who helps refuel Firefox at the North Pole and...

2) The two German officers from Raiders of the Lost Ark who melt at the end of the movie along with Belloq are also in this movie.

Written & starring Derrick Glover from Community & his sketch group.

Low budget & looks it but definitely has it's stupid funny moments.

"Oh fuck it's the mystery team!"

Same story here. We had the box where you had to push down the button number, HBO was 21 and The Movie Channel was 20.

We had a similar cable box. 12 buttons & a switch with 3 settings for a total of 36 channels? The 'premium' option was a remote box connected via a phone cable with a two digit red LED display & a 0-9 keypad kinda like Merlin...

I'm shocked anyone else on here has watched that movie!

Saw it in the theater.

Arguably the best true Sci-Fi flick of the past five years.
