Oblivion - wanted to catch this while it was still in theaters.... good movie I thought, plot was interesting, I know it got bashed pretty bad by the critics.. but I thought it was good. I tend to walk into my movies and turn off my brain.

Iron Man 3 - It was a lot of action and the whole family enjoyed it. The special effects were excellent, although there was one overly apparent green screen moment to me (the wind was blowing Aldrich's hair on the top of the building). Other than that, it was great.

Rosewood

Based on a true story from the early 1920s. A white woman lies about who beat her up in order to cover up her infidelity. The lie then snowballs into a drunken mob of white racists massacring many and burning homes in a small, neighboring Florida town where all the land owners are black.

I don't remember ever learning about this incident in HS history. Really a fucked up situation and I got pissed off watching it. Absolutely terrible how people act upon ignorance and hatred.

Star Trek: Into Darkness

Benedict Cumberbatch is one bad mother. If you enjoyed the first new one, I don't see any way you won't enjoy this one.

First time seeing this it since it came out & once again thoroughly enjoyed it. Very moving picture with a very deep cast. I'm sure many of you have seen this before, but if you haven't, I highly recommend it. Awesome movie.

Not a movie per se, but am watching the American version of "House of Cards" on Netflix. Fuckin' A, I am not easily impressed, but this series is blowing me out of the water. Halfway through, I give it a 5/5.

The switch from pensioner to commando was absolutely amazing & one of my all time favorite acting performances.

What is House of Cards about? Is that the one starring Spacey?

And Robin Wright... Kate Mara...

It's a pretty well written political thriller, probably nothing you've not seen before in terms of story. It's the details, the dialogue and THE Kevin Spacey that make it noteworthy.

Netflix is out of the gates swinging with the OC... This, Hemlock Grove and of course the Arrested Development re-launch. Good stuff.
