LB Baron Browning (Denver Broncos)

Know who would have been great in Knowles system as a LEO??

Yeah I think Browning was growing into a hybrid build while he was here, and also could have had better coaching. But his last year you could tell his natural ability and talent were meeting with an understanding of the game and instinct. I always thought he was a guy that wouldn't be a 1st rounder, but would be a steal in the right system because he was peaking right when he was about to get drafted. Hope he kills it this year for Denver.

agreed. the light bulb came on late in his career at OSU, but you could always see the explosiveness and instincts he played with that were eventually going to get him to the level he's playing at now. Happy he's having success in the league.

He flashed the one year we had a good DC in 2019. I think he was a victim of bad coaching in general
I agree with that, but he was also in a scheme that didn't help him. Browning would've been a stud off the edge. And Denver is seeing that and using that, and OSU fans were screaming for that his whole time while in S&G. I remember how fans were salivating over hearing that he was even just doing warm up drills with LJsr and the DL. But instead coaches were trying to force him into being a MLB. But good for him for finding a footing in the league

Denver Broncos' Baron Browning's dominant 2022 preseason debut was 'awesome to see'

"I think y'all saw it," Hackett said of Browning. "He was around the quarterback quite a bit. Got a sack, a couple tackles, a pass breakup. His acceleration off the ball, ability to bend is really good to see. He came out and played free. I thought it was awesome to see. We'll evaluate him more, but he's doing a great job."
