sound like the Bucks have made a huge jump up Sabino's list in the last month. Chances of landing him with only one LB verbal in th 08 class so far?

The visit will be telling (I know that's not a pearl of wisdom, but it's definitely true here)... There have been some mixed signals coming out of Sabino's camp as to who is a favorite, so a good visit for the MSU game will go a long way for our chances...

Since I saw this thread, I took a visit to the Miami board. More than a few fans are saying it's down to us and USC. They say Sabino really had a problem with the Florida coaching staff and that his interest in UNC subsided once he saw how far away they were from contending.

This is all just banter, but from a different perspective.

There have also been Miami fans recently that have felt Sabino would be a Cane... Like I said, mixed signals...

Linebacker Etienne Sabino of Dr. Michael M. Krop High in Miami will make his third visit to Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 20 when Ohio State plays host to Michigan State.
Sabino, rated the fifth-best middle linebacker in the nation by Scout.com, is considering scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Ohio State and Southern Cal.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder will likely watch two of his candidates play in his backyard on Saturday.
?I?m thinking about going to see Georgia Tech play against Miami this weekend,? he said.
Sabino remains impressed with the Jackets despite their 3-3 record.
?I like their attack style defense,? he said. ?It gives you a lot of opportunities to make plays.
?As far as the start, they?ve played some pretty tough teams. To me, that?s not a big issue.?
The coveted linebacker is expected to pick his college in just over five weeks.
?I think my commitment will be around the 13th of November,? Sabino said.

'08 FL CB Travis Howard does not have an offer, and is visiting this weekend with Etienne. Travis has a very nice offer list, so don't let the 40 time fool you (his rivals 40 is very nice).

OSU really does not have a strong CB candidate going for them right now (Brandon Harris is a big longshot). Howard & Sabino are both high on the buckeyes, might he get an offer by coming up this weekend? Would that lock up both?

We'll have to see, but it's an exciting possibility.

I know that he is to be in C-Bus this weekend for the game and he is bringing a friend. Travis Howard

It says that he holds an offer also at CB.scout visit list

I did not see this kid in our database but could he be a sleeper pickup or is this a Sabino package deal or something?

Anything is possible in the world of recruiting, but we're already looking at a numbers crunch. I doubt a package deal would be in play.
