LB Marcus Freeman (HC Notre Dame, Constant Backtracker)

Not sure where to put this, feel free to move it but there is concern on NDNation that Lorenzo Styles might hit the portal.

Seems weird, he would start there next year as there WR’s suck.

And even if he did hit the portal I don’t think it would be a lock to come here.
Maybe he wants to play with his bro or South Bend sucks.
He is a really nice looking player though.

Just saw this, and it confirms my suspicions that Buckeye fans are being sensitive babies about this for no reason.

It doesn’t make sense that he would shit-talk Ohio State. Makes even less sense with his clarifications. The fact that he addressed it is very telling. He didn’t have to address it at all.
He said he made a mistake in choosing Ohio State as a player. Ohio State fans are sensitive, but not here.

Where in his “clarification” did he mention Ohio State? He mentions Columbus and relationships and time there. But he didn’t mention the reason for being there…..and, frankly, the reason he landed on 3rd base. That reason is The Ohio State University…..not Columbus.

Per sources, and multiple reports, Kelly offered both Rees and Freeman immediate positions on his Tigers’ inaugural staff.

“Too, Kelly threw large monetary offers – more than either coach was making as Kelly’s top two assistants at Notre Dame – to both coaches.

“Freeman, meanwhile, his coaching star ascendant, had been approached by his alma mater, Ohio State, with an even more lucrative verbal offer as Ryan Day’s defensive coordinator.

Ryan Day reportedly offered Marcus Freeman defensive coordinator position at Ohio State with Notre Dame job hanging in the balance (yahoo.com)
