Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

rumour going around that at midnight bosh will be sent to MIA for beasley, chalmers and joel anthony in sign and trade...not sure how this affects the cap room for MIA...not sure if this gives them more wiggle room or not to possibly get lebron and re-sign wade

According to ESPN yesterday, Wade and LeBron would have to be willing to accept less money than Bosh since its a sign and trade and Bosh will only accept max-deal money. So essentially Bosh comes in as the #3 but takes the most money.

Not sure if LeBron and Wade are OK with that or not...if this deal goes down, I'd assume its been agreed upon.

I don't know what I'm rooting for here. I think I'd rather see him stay in Cleveland first, then I think I'd like to see him in Miami with Wade. I don't know how to react if he goes to Chicago and brings somebody with him. I haven't watched the NBA since 98, so jumping back on board because of this would make me the same as a Yankee fan.

You will always have Oakland.

just listened to windhorsts podcast and he thinks lebron will resign with cleveland but hes not putting his house on it...he still thinks NY is the other option...he thinks bulls have a good team but beyond being the best fit he doubts it...not enough good shooters and they just traded their best outside shooter in heirich for nothing....worth listening to as always

Did he make it seem like the Bulls made a mistake in trading away Hinrich "for nothing"? Because that's a move that only opens the door wider for Lebron.

Correct. Additional money to spend. What use did Hinrich really serve?? He's too small for SG and he certainly isn't taking any minutes from Rose. Bulls want Bosh and LeBron, and then have some flexibility to sign a shooter.

It seems some people forget what signing two superstars will do for the rest of the roster. I don't think it will be hard for Chicago to find a perimeter player if LeBron and Bosh sign. Or if just LeBron signs.

He did make that inference. Everyone knows you have to surround lebron with shooters and hinrich was the closest thing they had. It doesn't open the door wider for lebron as Chicago still can't offer 2 max deals without trading deng.

I don't know that you "have to surround LeBron with shooters" but it helps. There are other options, such as pushing the ball, and surronding LeBron with legitamate finishers. While Rose isn't the regular season shooter Mo Williams is, come playoff time they're about the same. But Rose finishes and gets to the hoop at about the same level Rondo does. And trading Deng should not be a problem if Chicago is where Bosh wants to play. They're both 4's essentially, so if Chicago were to land Bosh, losing Deng is not an issue. It actually eliminates a PT problem.

A roster of:

Rose
Whoever the 2g is...call it Flip Murray right now
LeBron
Bosh
Noah

Thats a good looking starting 5. You're missing shooting but the ability to run and defend should not be a problem. Noah is one of the best open court centers in the NBA, Bosh can get up and down, LeBron is a freak, and Rose is prob the fastest player in the league with the ball in his hands. I just have a really hard time seeing Cleveland holding onto LeBron when you look at some of his options froma roster stand-point.
