So, here's the interaction between my boss and me after a similar effort:

GoBucks1014: Hey boss, one of our biggest competitor's has offered me a job, with a significant raise. What can you do for me?

Boss: Isn't this the 3rd time in 6 years you've come into my office with this [Mark May]?

GoBucks1014: Well, I have won over some big accounts over the past 6 years, and increased sales 125% over goal.

Boss: Answer my question. Isn't this the 3rd time in 6 years you've come into my office with this bull[Mark May]?

GoBucks1014: But...

Boss: Ok, that's what I thought. Good luck GoBucks1014, don't let the door hit you. Let me know how it's going when your luck runs out in a couple of years.

I find it strange that your boss calls you GoBucks1014...

It's not like he's in Singapore where his boss refers to him as OrceeRucksFan.
And they ask you who you voted for in the recent erection.

Edit: Les might refer to you that way though. So heads up.

Re: REPORTS: LSU coach Les Miles has an offer on the table to become new Arkansas coach, according to source. Deal is reportedly 5-yr/27.5M.

Well, that's $5.5M per year and Saban is the highest paid coach making $5.62M this year (reportedly going to $6M by 2017) . Miles should ask for something like $5.7M with COLA increases) to stay ahead of Saban.
If he gets it you know Saban :evil:would be [censored]ed off.

Yeah, what would this be...the 3rd raise he's leveraged out of other job offers? At some point, you have to say enough's enough.

technically, it's only the 2nd.

the raise he got in '07 was in his original contract.
he became highest paid coach in the country (at the time) for winning the National title.
so he was getting that raise with or without the flirtation with scUM.

Maybe I am a little slow on the uptake here, but why would Les consider leaving LSU for Arkansas? Money aside, he already turned down his Alma Mater, so what does Arkansas bring to the table?

Even more money!
