I read somewhere else that it's the strength coaches office, which would make sense since the sign is talking about showing up for workouts. I agree, that's definitely not Les' office.

Tommy Moffit (S&C coach) office.
he's been doing this for years (since early Saban era) as a motivational tool.
guy miss or slack off during workouts, your name goes on the list.
and as you can see by some of the names, he don't care if you're a "star" or not.

I like it. Punching these kids in the pride can be a hell of a motivator.

Cam Cameron is LSU's new offensive coordinator, a source confirmed to CBS on Friday. Cameron and Tigers head coach Les Miles have been tight for years, dating back to their days on Bo Schembechler's staff at University of Michigan in the '80s.

The 52-year-old Cameron had been the Baltimore Ravens OC but was fired during the regular season, before the team went on its Super Bowl run. Cameron replaces Greg Studrawa, who ran a Tiger team that finished No. 85 in the nation in total offense in 2012. LSU, which finished 10-3, did have to overcome an assortment of injuries on its O-line.

Cameron's first project will be trying to help develop Zach Mettenberger, the team's strong-armed QB. The program has been plagued by suspect quarterback play for years and seemingly has been able to win in spite of its QBs. Last season, LSU ranked No. 92 in passing and Mettenberger only had a 12-7 TD-INT ratio.

on the Cameron hire:

I think I like this one.

he runs a style of offense similar to what we may have been trying to run recently. So our personnel should match what he wants to do.

main thing though is his track record with QBs.
Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Joe Flacco.

not predicting Mettenberger to make a jump to anywhere near that level in one year, but a year of improvement/development would be nice.

Especially with the yougins that just signed this week coming into camp.

Cam Cameron hire is now official.
was introduced at a Press conference about a half hour ago.


if he can get us a competent offense, I like our chances every freaking year going forward.
we don't need to light up scoreboards like those gimmicky offenses in some conferences.
Just get us comfortably above complete sucktitude and I'll be happy.
