Rich can certainly put an offense together, but the guy has zero clue on defense.

Luckily for him he got Jeff Casteel this time around to do the dirty work on that side of the ball.

Rich will also be free once again to load up on JUCO's like he did at WVU.

Call me crazy, but I think he'll have quite a bit of success in the Pac-12, and it's a better job than West Virginia if you ask me.

I think Malik Zaire would look great in that offense.

I think everybody knows Meyer is a great coach, and he'd look great playing for Urban's offense as well. He isn't unseating Braxton though, period...I think we can all agree with that. Braxton will be a special player for Meyer imo.

Not too familiar with Arizona's current depth chart at QB, but I'm sure Rich has run some of the ones already there off- if he hasn't yet he will - give it time. Much better shot for Zaire to get on the field immediately if that's what he's looking for.

My post was mostly pointing out to that gentleman that despite his flaws, I still think Rich is a good coach in the right situation. So does Urban, apparently he is one of the people that vouched for Rich to the Arizona AD.

Zaire

I saw him make an incredible throw against Kettering Fairmont last year. Went 60 yards in the air almost on a straight line hit the received in the end zone. Receiver dropped it. Best throw I think I've ever seen in a highschool game. Bottom line is the kid can play but his numbers aren;t going to be as incredible as others because they run the ball almost exclusively. I hope the Meyer group gets on the Zaire bandwagon. If not guess we'l still have talent.
