I don't know about the football craziness. It might just be that with 5 QBs on the roster, two of them very young and talented (Booty, Hinds), in addition to the starter (Leinart), our excitement is reserved for the primary targets, who are quality DBs, and a lot of them, this year.

I am sure a point (about # of QBs) that has not gone unnoticed to Mark Sanchez.

You should have left Fred Davis alone, and come to Ohio this year for DB's (no, not Jamario). Lots of good ones in state, and OSU is loaded to the gills, so I doubt that any besides O'Neal and Myers-White will get an offer (maybe Kendall Davis from Alliance, if he can make grades).

It is a shame that these guys may not see a game in the Shoe before commiting...if they are impressed by an empty stadium, I wonder what game day in Columbus would seem like. Us Buckeyes eat, breathe, sleep and dream football. I mean, what other school's fans REALLY follow recruiting to this extent? My mood for the day often depends on every little tidbit of information we get. I just wish these guys could see the passion that they could be a part of. I think Ryan (A lifelong Buckeye) gets it...Now lets only hope Kevin and Mark get a chance to experience it firsthand!

Well if you take it back, you can have it as far as I'm concerned.

As far as USCGuru saying that Mack Brown had recieved "news" wether good or bad MIGHT make sense. Remember Bemoll called Sanchez and told him not to commit yet. I guess we may see some more light revealed in a day or two.

My remark wasn't meant as a personal attack, only as an observation, as I am registered with all USC boards, I am a premium customer at WeAreSc and I don't recall ever having seen your handle before. It is very possible that I am mistaken, of course.

Nevertheless, if I am allowed to ask, how do you know that Mark has already made a decision? are you connected to this matter in some way? And, obviously, if you have decided to post such an important piece of information on BP, I am assuming that you are prepared to continue informing us with precise info, right? otherwise, why post it?

So, who has he chosen?

I'm very optimistic about getting M. Sanchez (whom I prefer) or Schoenhoft, but do any of you think that rooming together could mean that they wouldn't want to go to the same school together with the reasoning if they see how good the other one is, then they won't want to have to compete for the job (both appear very concerned about the depth chart)?

I can understand wanting to go to a place where you are the guy, it might not be a fear of competition, but being guarenteed time and attention from the coaching staff.

Hopefully we get both. We appear to only get Elite 11 QB's in pairs.

Well, since you "know for a fact" that he's going to Texas, then you won't mind if we disbar you from this site if and when Sanchez pulls the trigger for Ohio State. Deal?

One thing we won't tolerate here is out and out garbage and posting to simply "further fan the flames". If you want to make valid contributions as a outsider, you're more than welcome. If not, see ya.

Thank you all for the exciting news regarding Bemoll and Sanchez. I think I need to have a lap top so I can read all these great posts in the 'john'. I usually feel like I have to unload when I read exciting stuffs like this. BTW...I apologize if your name is John ;-)
