Marvel Cinematic Universe

As the father of a daughter, I was telling my wife I’m happy to live in an age where there are strong women characters and hero’s... I know it might not be the best movie ever but the look on my daughters face at the end was enough to convince me it was one of the best ever....

And this was one of the reasons why I liked the Black Panther a lot. Many strong female characters and performances.

I think part of the "problem" (term used loosely) is watching them in rapid succession. I have the same problem rewatching GoT to get caught back up. There's no withdrawl between movies/seasons.

I'd argue that the opposite is the issue. GoT is best when binged with no exposure to other media in between episodes. Because the emotional impact of watching Jon Snow be murdered by the Night's Watch was significantly peed all over when it rolled right into Silicon Valley, Veep, and John Oliver.

There really isnt one like there is with Star Wars. You can easily just watch it in the order they released. Like i've mentioned, there are a few you can skip so you are not watching 19 movies.
so I should start with Iron man 2 then followed by Thor Dark world then Iron man 3 right?

And then came Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was not a big fan of this one to be honest. This one lacked the quality interaction between the characters that the first one had, it was forced and somewhat trite in the dialogue. The whole Widow/Banner this is kinda meh. And this was a jumbled mess of trying to introduce too many new characters. They would have been fine with the twins or Vision, but they did them both and rushed through Strucker too, along with the whole Ultron concept, which wasn’t fleshed out enough. And Hawkeye has a farmhouse...OK. Just didn’t do a lot for me, felt like the actors were even kind of mailing it in, although I think SJ was probably the strongest. Disappointed in this one, way below the quality of the first one.

1. Marvel’s Avengers (5/5)
2. Black Panther (5/5)
3. Captain America: The First Avenger (4.5/5)
4. Iron Man (4.5/5)
5. Captain America: Winter Soldier (4.5/5)
6. Guardians of the Galaxy (4/5)
7. Avengers: Age of Ultron (3.5/5)
8. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (3.5/5)
9. Thor (3.5/5)
10. Incredible Hulk (3/5)
11. Iron Man III (2.5/5)
12. Iron Man II (2.5/5)
13. Thor: Dark World (2/5)

Just make sure you split Ant-Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp with Civil War.

Just got home from Captain Marvel. Enjoyed it, wife and 10 year old daughter loved it, 9 year old daughter loved Goose the most. Kids asked if we could go again tomorrow.

Im now wondering if our cats are flerken and that’s how all my daughters’ stuffed animals have disappeared.

That's my opinion also. My daughter was already loving Into the Spiderverse but when the Spider-Girl showed up, the kid audibly gasped. I looked at her and her jaw was on the floor. She leaned over and whispered "does that mean there's a universe where the REAL Spider-Man is a girl"?!?! It's now her favorite movie.

I'm happy that all girls, my kid included, get to see themselves as the hero instead of the love interest or side-kick in a real culturally relevant movie. I remember growing up when we only had one tv, watching WWF, I had 10 different characters to root for. Important characters. My sister would cry if Miss Elizabeth wasn't on the show because that's all she had. This kinda shit matters

Same reason Black Panther was so important too

I won't go into detail but I think infinity war makes this movie better.

Having said that, I agree with some of this. Also the product of fighting between director and studio.
