Don’t know much about Minny but from what I read they are probably on the bad end of talent level/experience as far as the schedule goes? Really don’t care what the score is, get the W, minimize the penalties, don’t give up the big plays and just play solid is all I want to see. Tired of seeing these 8+ penalties and allowing big plays every week.

I think this is the game where the defense shuts it down. I also think that the Oregon State game is still clouding our judgement a bit. That's still the only game where the defense was just absolutely awful, and even then it was like 4 big plays. TCU was on the road against a team that'll probably be in the Top 15 or at least Top 25 comes years end. Penn State was a pretty great effort against a Top 10 offense at their house where the offense stepped on their dicks for about 40 minutes. Indiana is Indiana. They give us fits every single year no matter what squad they field or we field.

Maybe I'm being a little too optimistic though.

No you really arent though...no rushing attack and a true freshman QB paired with an OL that can't protect him. If they get more than 14 that's a little disappointing.

This is not a good team.

i was at that debacle 1 week after also being in Camp Randall to watch us beat up brooks bollinger and rise to #5 in the polls. felt like the twilight zone

You didn't miss anything. Literally one of the worst-executed offensive game plans I've ever witnessed. It seemed like the only pass plays were either 3 yard dump offs or having Bellisari chuck it up and hope someone caught it. The o-line couldn't seem to open up anything either.
