Release date of March 2, 2009. Their site doesn't have anything about the game except for who the cover athlete is.

Probally if/when mlb renegotiates their contracts. If I remember right a few years ago there was a big push where companies were making sure they got exclusive rights for the official games from sports leagues. EA got football (Madden) but lost out on Baseball.
