Don't worry, the Pirates have a plan for Chicago.

Execution has been a problem the last two games but they will show their true selves.

Management cancelled the last home game, ostensibly because it doesn't have title implications but probably because their fans aren't coming anyway. It's a shame what the Pirates ownership has done to a once-proud franchise. Will they be around in five years?

Cubs v Cards series is going to inflict great pain on one of those two fan bases and I am ok with that

WB's win and it likely costs Cubbies the division and puts them in the WC game

Cubs win and WB's are eliminated

too bad they can't both lose

Cubs did their best to choke this away the last two weeks, but pulled their heads out at the last moment. They have a chance, just because the NL is weak. That being said there are 3, and probably 4, AL teams that will give them a right proper rogering if they manage to back themselves into the WS.
