I agree with this. Black Ops was a very good game. I felt the campaign was all over the place though. It was fun and exciting, but every scene was nuts. And that's fun for a while, but not too much replayability. The multplayer was fun until I pretty much maxed myself out at level 47 prestige before the new maps came out. It was just repetitive with the maps and everything. Zombies was great and played a ton of that too, but again repetitive. You can't ever win, you die and your done. Square one. It was addicting but after a while you move on. The arcade zombies was a blast all the time.

Either way I'm looking forward more to Battlefield 3. After reading the preview in GameInformer I may pass on this installment of COD and try the Battlefield release. I haven't played any of the iteratons before the new release, but I know it's gotten rave reviews. However, those were all installments and progressions from Battlefield 2. BF3 will be a whole new game designed with a whole new engine and a true sequel to BF2. Nothing against COD: MW3 I'll probably play that too, but I want to see how these two compare in the next few months before any decisions on my next FPS title.

Activision: Modern Warfare 3 Teaser a 'Hoax'

Publisher denies website ownership.



Activision is denying the purported Modern Warfare 3 teaser website Findmakarov.com was created by the publisher.

An Activision spokesperson issued this statement to IGN this afternoon. "There seems to be a great deal of speculation about the next Call of Duty project. Let me be clear that we are not revealing yet. Anything indicating otherwise is a hoax."

When asked if Activision is planning to reveal any games on Wednesday morning, the spokesperson said "Nope."

Well, damnit. Getting kind of tired of Black Ops, even though each Call of Duty has been pretty much the same (other than World at War), they're different enough to give me a few months of entertainment.

Meh. I've been disappointed since Call of Duty 4. It's my second favorite game of all time and I've been playing it recently. The maps and the game are just pheromonal. A few years ago, I had 18 people I knew personally and we would play ground war for hours, I just don't foresee that happening again ever. For me, I don't think any call of duty will ever touch modern warfare 1.

Me and a couple friends played COD4 tonight, it was awesome. I miss the M40 with ACOG so much.

Black Ops got boring after 3 months. I got to the 8th prestige and just couldn't play it anymore. MW2 was the beat of all of them IMHO. Thank God for GoW3 coming out in November and the beta for the multiplayer coming out in mid April. Probably wont ever touch CoD after that. HomeFront looks pretty sweet though. Anyone tried that yet?

Typical treyarch game for you there. If/when MW3 does come out, Infinity Ward should be the developers. So hopefully they take out replay theater (lags up too much), and bring back 3rd person! Was absolutely the funnest part about MW2!

And don't get Homefront, my friend told me it looks like a 6 year olds adaptation of a Call of Duty game. Graphics apparently aren't the greatest and he says the gameplay isn't much better.

Infinity Ward is NOT publishing any more CoD / MW games. They didn't get the contract with Activision from what I read. Its gonna be done by a company I have never heard of. And it will be their first project. I will try to dig the info up. But being that it WON'T be IW, I won't be buying it. TREYARCH is garbage!

Theater is the best part about Black Ops!
