Pimp Minister Sinister
I was just checking the MLB Leader Board, and was shocked: A-Rod is leading the majors in Home Runs, RBI, and Runs Scored. That's gotta be the quietest 14-dong, 43-RBI, 37-R performance (through 44 games) I've ever seen.

The guy never gets a hit in a big game, but he's guaranteed to drive in a run or hit a bomb in the 8th Inning of a 7-0 game.

Even during the current 12-2 stretch, the Yankees have been carried (offensively, anyway) by the Bam-Tino, Bernie, Matsui, Robinson Cano, Tony Womack, & even Giambi has had more impact than A-Rod. I've never seen anything like this. The guy's having a monster season statistically on a team that's on a major roll, but none of its made a lick of difference. Amazing.

BuckeyeNation27: "is he leading in errors too? saw him boot a weak ass grounder from Pedro the other day."

I have no idea. He's booted a bunch of big plays this year, including a huge one in the 9th against the Red Sox.

I don't recall. The Yanks are 6-0 against the A's this year, so whatever it was, it wasn't very costly.

I should write an anti-A-Rod thread everyday is he's gonna produce like he did last night.

My bad....it was the Orioles. I think it was before extra innings, and before that moron Tino tried to get the force at home and threw it past horse face.

The Orioles are gonna have a little 'Revenge of the Empire' come up-ins soon. They lost Javy Lopez for six weeks & Brian Roberts hurt his knee last night. They can get past the weak part of their schedule (only 3 of the next 24 against .500 teams), and then its time for a little reality check.

Yeah, so what? We took advantage of a weak part of the schedule, and the Orioles will too. BTW, those same Seattle & Oakland teams are doing a job on the Red Sox. Chew on that.

Roberts got beamed on his knee-cap, stayed in the game, and the very next play aggravated it further by sliding awkwardly into 2B. He had to be taken out after that.
