BuckeyeNation27: "well then why ask the question"

I only asked why you were abandoning your 'favorite' team. Especially since its the first time they have a legit shot in 86 years.

I mean, lets look at facts. The Pale Hoes: been around since 1901, only have seven playoff appearences in all those years (w/ 2 Championships 1906 & 1917). The last one managed by a guy named "Pants" Rowland (also the last time they won 100 games). Their last four Playoff appearences came in '00, '93, '83, & '59.

These years don't come around too often for the South Siders. I'd savor the moment.

Heck, you probably have the best shot to knock off the Empire.

BuckeyeNation27: "which is why i answered the way i did....and you gave a dumbass answer."

No its not. You're the bandwagon fan who's been chirping all winter about, "I don't have a team anymore!"

And hell, who knows what you root for: 99% of your baseball replies are about the Yankees. You're more on our jock than any 'favorite team' you may or may not have ..

Can't blame 27 heck I would have given up on the White Sox 20 years ago....
:shake:

when did i say i ever gave up on the whitesox? apparently youre only allowed to like your team if they win a championship every 5 years or so.

guess that means you gave up on Notre Dame a long time ago.

Even during the current 12-2 stretch, the Yankees have been carried (offensively, anyway) by the Bam-Tino, Bernie, Matsui, Robinson Cano, Tony Womack, & even Giambi has had more impact than A-Rod.
Bernie? Cano? Giambi? :slappy:

Man, you really have a thing against A-Rod.

It took me all of about 30 seconds to check out the stats during the Yanks recent run, and here's what I found:

Bernie 8 hits, 1 HR, 6 RBI

Cano 17 hits, 1 HR, 8 RBI

Giambi 10 hits, 1 HR, 6 RBI

ARod 19 hits, 6 HR, 18 RBI

Yeah, those other guys are just carrying ARod along for the ride. :roll2:

If you must keep starting these Yankee Love threads, can you at least take a minute to get your facts straight? It's all to easy to tell when someone is just yapping off the top of his head.
