NBC Comedy: The Office, Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Community

One route I'm glad they didn't pursue in the few closing episodes was Toby being the real "Scranton Strangler".

It might've been funny if Jim used the same stripper as "Ben Franklin" and "Fun Run" (as if there was only one stripper in Scranton).

Only watched the documentary so far. The casting clips were a fascinating flashback. Jim was nervous but a natural, my grandmother could spot his potential.

I wish we had more clips of Dwight. From the ones they showed he wasn't even close to the Dwight we have now. Great casting and character development

It was the same stripper. Elizabeth the Stripper

Yeah, you're right. It isn't on her IMDb yet (that's why I made an assumption).

As far as extra bits or deleted scenes (for the DVD or on NBC.com), it might be funny to see the full video of the stripper that Jim was taking with phone in the restaurant. But they're not going to do that.

I haven't watched anything from last night yet so I'm not sure if they actually covered it, but Rainn has said in interviews that when he auditioned he was actually auditioning for the role of Michael.

Community will now have far less Donald Glover
627.jpg

In keeping with every Community-related story?in which any bit of good news is quickly tempered by not-so-great news?Vulture is reporting that the show?s fifth season featuring lots more Dan Harmon will also feature a lot less Donald Glover. Hints that Glover might not be committed to a full-blown return next year began surfacing in June, after the site suggested Glover wanted to devote more time to rapping as Childish Gambino to a crowd of people yelling, ?Hey, how come you?re not on Community?? Now it looks as though that may be the reality, as Vulture says Glover will likely only appear in five of the upcoming 13 episodes?a compromise that will allow Sony to save money by not having to pay Glover for every episode. Indeed, with the cost cutting from that and not having to cover Chevy Chase?s salary anymore, Community could afford to do all sorts of cool things, such as buying every viewer a pizza to take their mind off how weirdly empty the show feels now.
...
Listen to Childish Gambino's new single and debate whether it was worth him leaving Community for

This is literarily the worst news ever!

http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/07/31/rob-lowe-rashida-jones-parks-and-recreation/

Two residents of Pawnee will soon bid farewell: Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones are exiting Parks and Recreation during the show?s sixth season, EW has confirmed. (Buzzfeed first reported the news.) The pair will depart about halfway through the season, in the 13th episode.

Jones has been with the show since it launched, while Lowe came aboard late in season 2. Their characters, Chris Traeger and Ann Perkins, dated in season 3, and were trying to have baby at the end of last season.

I can really do without Jones but I will definitely miss Lowe, although they burnt me out on him with his outlandish positivity. All the best characters are in tact.

Also...no Troy or Chevy? Community is about to go to shit.
