Which means the official "this game sucks, I'm trading it in" date is July 21st
September 17th. :wink2: Gamestops' "Circle of Life" anticipates that 25% of total units preordered will be returned for trade within 2 months, hopefully still in the launch window of the original title, so that Gamestop can sell the same software again with $5 knocked off.

That's the key to the business. The profit margins are so bad that software chains only make between $4-$6 per unit sold from new software, but they'll pull in about $30 per unit that has been traded in.

The OSU/UM game was IGN Insider's video of the day. It was promptly leaked onto Youtube. Players debuting this year (to my knowledge) include Abdallah, Gant (as a white dude), Larimore, Ryan Williams and Shaun Lane. Connor Smith is at RG, Coleman at safety alongside Russell, who is one of the return men.

On the plus side, there seems to be player editing in this game. If the ability to edit class is still around, we'll be able to correct any mishaps or convert players who may leave to guys not in the game.

Hasn't this been around for awhile, at least for Playstation? I've been editing the Irish for awhile, whether a player changed a number, or if there was a player that transferred/isn't playing I've been able to change the player to someone else that is on the roster.
One thing I'd like to see is change the difficulty in retaining players from leaving for the NFL early. Theres a lot of college teams that have players who remain with the school to complete their degree rather than leave early. If I have a season where several players were the best or Top 5 in their position, I'm probably gonna have to beg them to stay the next season. Losing half your team each season is kinda ridiculous, I think they need to tweak the possibility players will bolt. As far as players transferring from not getting playing time, this doesn't seem to be too far off. If I have a few decent players that don't see playing time, I usually only lose 1-2 transfers a season, which is realistic.

uluk, you could not edit inaccurate classes (ie frosh, soph). This was not a major issue, but it is helpful to fix grade errors, or to edit a benchwarmer senior to become an overlooked freshman not added to the initial roster.

the big one you couldn't edit was postion.. some versions of madden/ncaa over the years you could.. not lately and i was hoping they were saying you can edit players postions this year as well as classes etc.

The way it was last year was:
current-gen: edit everything but class and hometown
next-gen: no equipment edits but you could edit class

Unfortunately, I may have spoke too soon upthread. While next-gen will definitely have player editing, class edit has not been confirmed. It won't be anything new to current-gen gamers. We can hope to get both player and class edit but I wouldn't hold my breath.
