JT's an Elite Coach? I would've put him as merely Excellent, because anyone that's followed college football at all for the last five years knows that Pete Carroll, Charlie Weis, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, and Kirk Ferentz are the only truly Elite coaches around. :bonk:

Academic Prestige - Excellent
Program Tradition - Excellent
Television Exposure - Excellent

Academic Prestige - I thought Ohio State's myth was that it had crappy academics? I'm surprised to see EA put it that high. Certainly not arguing, though.

Program Tradition - What the hell do you have to do to get "Elite" status? Who has more tradition than Ohio State?

Television Exposure - Same thing. Do you have to have ESPN's GameDay on campus every week to get "Elite" status?

Apparently some business that is only in Ohio (bowling green) has broken the street date. C&C games or just C&C?
It's C&C Games.. 2 locations 518 E Wooster Bowling Green, OH and 1038 Oak Harbor Freemont, OH

I've talked with both on the phone, the BG location is (419) 353-2612 and they have told me they are selling NCAA for the PS3 and the 360, BG is getting 32 copies for PS3 tomorrow.. they are open 10-8 Friday & Saturday

I'm driving up with two buddies, ones a 360 and the other is PS3, we're splitting gas 3 ways and getting our copies

BN27 thanks a million

EDIT: If any of you guys in the Columbus area want a copy please PM asap

Gonna bump an old thread here...I'm a little late getting to the party, just got a PS3 with NCAA 2008. It's awesome and totally different than the PS2 I had before it. Insanely more difficult as well.

I've had one problem with depth charts though...I go in to change the depth charts from the main menu and save it and everything, but when I go into a game, it's like I never changed anything. All of the players are back to their old slots like before I changed them. Anybody else have this problem, or am I just not getting how to properly save on a PS3 yet?

If you're truly in the main menu, then you're editing the initial depth chart settings... which have to be saved (& loaded) in order to retain them.

Not sure why you're editing depth charts in the main menu. Just do them in the franchise menus...

Just played my first ever game online against someone. Beat Wisconsin at Camp Randall 17-14 after Boeckman hit Robiskie on a beautiful out route late in the 4th but that's besides the point...

I found the controller was really unresponsive. When kicking the ball I had to anticipate the meter because there seemed to be about a 1/2 to 1 second delay between the time I hit the button and the time it actually stopped. Made it difficult to do everything. I know they say gameplay online may be different than normal play but is this expected every time I play?

If you or you opponent has a slow connection it will lag. No way of knowing how fast his/her connection might be. There are also certain button combos that can be pressed that will lag the game intentionally in crucial situations(by your opponent). If you ever run or pass the ball close to your own goal line just on basic play(not online) you will notice a lag that is similar to online lag cheese play.I personally believe there is a big difference in online play..

Go to practice mode and kick field goals(or in regular two player mode not online). Your oline very seldom will fan out to block incoming traffic and result in a blocked field goal/ep. It is ridiculous, but in online play it doesn't do it. I hate online play because it to me is VERY unrealistic, and I don't mind guys putting rb's/wr's at qb to run the ball, but damn when the entire game changes because of something retarded it is hell on my controller, because they it has a custom fitted place of throwdown in front of my tv..
