That sucks. Luckily, I have a Wii to go along with my PS2. A PS3 or 360 is probably still on the way for the more graphic intense games.

Has anyone played Madden '08 on the Wii? If so. How does the game play compare to the PS2? The Wii is just so different than my PS2 and if Madden sucks on the Wii then I won't buy NCAA Football '09 until I can get a PS# or 360.

Basically it is time to move on. EA knows they can't waste any more resources on the old generation and have to pump up their next gen software to take advantage of the new hardware. Cuz I know the people with the next gen consoles are waiting on EA to actually release a next gen game that doesn't suck.

From what I read and heard the Wii NCAA 09 version will have a Wii feel. And geared towards family type play. So I can bet the game will be more acradish and less simulation. But that is my guess. Probable the best thing to do is rent Madden or NCAA 09 when it comes out for the Wii to see if you like it.

Yeah, I'll try to rent '09 when it comes out. If it sucks, then I may be forced to get a PS3.

Oh, and for those that post this every year I'll go ahead and do it for you.

RELEASE THIS FOR THE PC!!!!!

Overall, sounds pretty good. What's the point of mascot games though!?!? I would think that they could find better things to take up that space. What about in-game saving?!?!?

The mascot games are really in there for kids, and why it is being highlighted for the Wii console. They have to get the young kids hooked somehow right?

I did hear in-game saving might be in it. Or at least it is rumored every year to do that.

Two different types of memory(space) too. In-game saving would bite into your hard-drive/memory card. Mascot games would be on the game-disc itself. The two are not connected.

Yeah, I realize that they aren't connected...just thinking out loud that they should be focusing on things that would actually improve the overall game (i.e. in-game saving) rather than throw aways, like mascot games.
