I have a concern/question.

The only reason I would use TB is to even out recruiting. Right now if you use TB you can pick your home state. Which could eliminate the user/user recruiing battles (an advantage).

If I stay in Ohio, I have to fight with BG, Ohio (not not to mention OSU).

Where someone like UNLV can team build as Texas/Cal and be by themselves. I have no clue if this is the case, just an example.

My problem, is I have no idea where you guys are placing your TB locations at...........I think this needs to be known to the league so we can decisions. Only fair in my opinion.
Basebuck brought this up a couple posts ago and I've been thinking about it a little more.

This is what I came up with. Olaf and 'mania both picked teams from Louisiana. Olaf is doing TB, and 'mania probably isn't. The team that Olaf creates is allowed to stay in Louisiana, but doesn't have to. If Olaf moves his team to another state, then he's not allowed to move it to any state that already has a user team in it.

Basically, you can stay in whatever state that your original team is from, or you can move your TB team to a state that isn't already occupied. Ohio, FAU, La Tech, and likely the TB team that was North Texas won't be moving, so Ohio, Florida, Louisiana and Texas will be off limits to TB teams that weren't originally in those states.

As far as I can tell, the rule was that TB teams are the same as their original counterparts. No changes/improvements to anything. Only aesthetic changes like uni's etc...
That's true. All of my recruiting aspects match Western Kentucky, with the exception of location, as that will be decided on where I am located.

I'm moving my team to PA, and somebody else (forget at the moment) was planning on doing the same thing. Both teams are real D2 schools (mine being 5,000 times better than his).

I created my D2 Pennsylvania team. My plan is to have them in PA. I'm just using UL-Laf's roster. Hell, I don't anything about UL-Laf. And since it was my idea, and since my D2 team kicks the hell out of I-Almost-Lost-To-Rutgers' D2 team, then...

You know, we can both be in PA. It's no big deal.

If you and Olaf come to the agreement that you'll both be in PA, then have at it. I just don't want guys that picked their teams largely on recruiting territory to have a bunch of TB teams moving into their state. If people want to recruit Texas or Florida, then they can move to Georgia or Oklahoma.

That's done on the TB site, isn't it?
I don't think that the recruiting pitches are set automatically based on roster, so they should be double checked against the original school's. Starting an offline dynasty with an original school is the only way that I know how to do that.

yeah i started one with buffalo and changed it to match on the TB site. i also changed the 4th string Fr RB's name to mine.

if i'm going to be stuck near the craptacular West Chester team, I should be able to jack up my coaching attributes. Danny Hale is so much better than whatever scrub is employed by the golden showers.

I'm cool with TB teams moving around given the restrictions mentioned here. I did pick North Texas solely for recruiting as I just played that team and they are craptastic! It's gonna take me awhile to dig them out of this hole. Northwestern just made me their bitch!
