Unfortunately, Colorado took Husker running game back to Boulder last week.

scUM was in a similar situation in dickrod's first year. IIRC, their only scholarship QBs were Steven Threet, and a very raw true-frosh Justin Feagin (better than Pryor!). Whaddaya know, Threet got hurt and they had to turn to walk-on Nick Sheridan. The results were predictable...

They also had an experienced QB in Ryan Mallett who RichRod ran off rather than tailoring his offense to suit Mallett's abilities. He was determined to force that team into his spread offense whether they had the talent to run it or not. They did not.

We'll see. He reportedly practiced this morning, but if the knee injury was so borderline that he could practice today and not play on Saturday that raises some flags.
