NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Nick Foles is terrible. I can’t believe he’s a starting QB at this point.

Just sayin': I wouldn't call him terrible (but he did have a bad night against the Vikings); however, there are a few mediocre NFL QBs that that find themselves in just the right situation to get their 60 minutes of glory.

The Bears offense is something awful
Watched the 2nd half. That was the worst offensive playcalling and execution I’ve seen at the professional level in years. Complete incompetence.

I think they were averaging 0.25 yards/play until the last drive. Also read their longest rush in the last 2 games is 11 yards on a fake punt. Mix that with a bunch of passes behind the line of scrimmage and it was really awful.

Ravens are frauds. Seems like they shit pump bad teams but anyone that lines up with a physical style takes them out of the game.

Of course, they march down to get back within a TD after I post this but my comment still stands!

Also, can’t stand either of these teams.
Lamar is very talented, but he doesn't have the precision passing game down just yet. He doesn't yet place the ball where good defense can't break it up. The Ravens are good enough to run all over mediocre NFL defenses, but obviously when the going gets tough they can't execute nearly as well.

I’m seeing very familiar parallels with the Ravens and Greg Roman/Lamar to what happened with Roman in SF with Kaepernick. For a year/year and a half, they were incredibly successful until the rest of the league caught on to his unique talents and it went downhill when he had to rely on conventional skills that weren’t his strong suit.
