Notre Dame @ tOSU, Sat Sep 3, 7:30PM (ABC)

Quick question I hadn’t noticed what the hell happened with proctor tonight.

He got in a total of 13 plays, only 5 were on defense. The rest were special teams.

SAFETIES
Josh Proctor: 5

Proctor started the game at bandit, but was replaced by Ransom on the second defensive series after his unsuccessful attempt to break in front of a Tyler Buchner pass led to a 54-yard catch-and-run by Lorenzo Styles. Ransom never left the field for the remainder of the game.

McCalister was in the lineup for every defensive play except one, as he was replaced by Proctor for one play in a 3rd-and-2 short-yardage defensive package.

KICKOFFS
Josh Proctor: 4

PUNTS
Josh Proctor (gunner): 3

FIELD GOAL/EXTRA POINT BLOCK
Josh Proctor: 1

Loved it when Knowles said "I expected this". Well, the Buckeye fantatics hoped, but didn't expect, such an immediate turnaround. Let's keep it up for this entire year, please. Also of note, that Xichigan fans said that Day is trying to emulate Harbaugh. I said "What?" Listen, we were playing Tresselball before you were born. It was called 'three yards and a cloud of dust' back then, and then evolved into Tresselball. Thank you Woody and Jimbo. Go Bucks!

It was so enjoyable to watch a defense that was clearly well-coached---aggressive, making plays, with the guys in the right position to make the plays. After whatever we've been watching the past couple years.

In addition, there appeared to be a lot fewer broken and/or missed tackles too. It would be interesting to see the defense's average "yards after contact" (YAC) stat compared to last year.

Ohio State did give up 4 fairly long pass plays (i.e. 54, 32, 31, $ 22 yards); however, (unlike the last couple years) none of them were TDs.

I'm ok with giving up some big plays that come from aggressiveness. The first play was a blitz and Proctor missed a tackle. That's going to happen.

The call was a corner blitz. Proctor has to know there that he's the last line of defense and has to make a sure tackle. Should've forsaken his individual style (aggressive tackling) for the benefit of the team, and that's why he was benched and rightfully so.

Not a terrible write up at all; however, this part is RICH:

However, they will still remain my most hated sports franchise in any sport by far. They’re full of themselves, obnoxious, and can’t be reasoned with.

Fan base self-reflection may be in order for this cat.
I recognize that with Buckeye Nation being as large as it is that there are definitely asswipe elements, but when it comes to per capita arrogance and small-mindedness, NoD fans are top-fkn-notch.
