off duty cop beats bar keep

I saw it on the local news and no major injuries occurd thankfully.

A few juicy tid bit about this guy

- Arrested for DUI
- A couple years back we he found not guilt in a wrongful death after he beat a suspects that was already detained
- Apperantly 20 minutes after the beating some guy came and offered a large sum of money to the bar tender to keep quiet

What pisses me off the most is the people in the bar who didn't do shit to help her. I think they should be beat just for that!

I can't view the video from here, so I don't know exactly what's going on here. But, if the last two things that you listed are accurate, and this was a bar full of regulars. There is a very good possibility that the guys that stood on the sidelines and watched, knew this guy was connected, and weren't as scared of getting their asses kicked in that moment, but rather dealing with people that are willing to deliver large sums of money to keep their paid off policeman out of shit. I know that I am much more likely to get involved and defend a woman, in this situation, if I don't have the history behind what's involved first.

I just went back and looked at the script for the story we ran yesterday here and it says he's 6'1", 250lbs.....

It was the lead story on the local news in Chicago last night. Those are the numbers they gave for the guy.

That's not you! That's a "16" not a "61" on the jersey, although Svitov did pound the snot out of that guy.
watch the first part of the video...

61 rides wisniewski into the boards.
then svitov jumps to the rescue saving 61s pretty face...

do you really think i fight my own battles?
the bartender should take after me. start the shit, skate/run away, let someone else handle the dirty work...
