Official Cleveland Browns Draft Thread

If Quinn lasts that long, we should move up to get him. His value doesn't warrant a third pick, but if we can get Quinn with a late first pick or early second pick, you NEED to make that move. You rarely get that great value.

For the Browns, Quinn isn't worth moving for. If he's there, cool, if he's not... let's get a good player!

Agreed I wouldn't try to move up unless we can unload Braylon and his salary and then I might think about it. :slappy: Really though I think that if he is available then you take him but if not there are plenty of players that are left that you could use to plug other holes.

My reasoning is that we're going to have to go QB either this year or next year. The farther Quinn falls, the less we'd have to give up to get him.

Quinn has gone from insanely overrated for the Browns to the steal of the draft in a matter of hours.

I wouldn't call anybody the steal of the draft until after the season. He's a good pick at this point, he'd be a steal in the 2nd. But there's a reason he has fallen this far -- and it's not only team needs.
Honestly, I like Stanton better. Theres a guy who ACTUALLY played on a crappy team and still performed very well. Has a great attitude from what I've seen, and has all the basic tools to be an NFL QB. Regardless, none of our QB options will be worth much for a couple of years (be it Frye, Anderson, Quinn, Stanton, Beck, Troy, or whoever you prefer)

I wouldn't have a problem with either. I've been opposed to taking QB in the first day, but I also never imagine we could get Quinn this late in the first/early in the second.

I just think it would be a good value pick, and we probably wouldn't have to give up a whole lot depending on how far he falls.

Fuck. I wanted them to draft Troy in the next round or two.

Is it really worth it to not only give up your second round pick, but then your first round from next year? What if that pick next year is a top 10? that basically would destroy any of the value they just banked in on.

I have to think that the Browns were in competition with other teams to trade up. I'm not too thrilled with giving up next year's #1, but a draft with both Thomas and Quinn is very, very nice.
