again DONT FUCK UP TOO MUCH OFFENSE!!!!

I hate statements like these. I understand your point behind it, but the fact of the matter remains that the offense has NOT lost us a game this year. Moreover, they've been better than we expected. I just ask that you temper this cynical statement with realistic optimism.

Amen to that brother!!

We should be thankful for every win we've got so far and thankful that our beloved buckeyes are the #1 team in the land for the second straight year!!!!!!

Look at some of the storied programs struggling this year and how they must feel to see a team like the buckeyes on top again after all the losses we had on both sides of the ball.

Some perspective, please.

Atleast we're not like the ND offense or the Nebraska Defense.....We're 8-0 and no one in college football but the buckeye fans are giving us a shot at finishing the deal this year...

This truly is a great time to be a buckeye fan!!!!!:oh:

Corso better pick the beavers... especially given his home-team preferences.

He will. He'll refer back to 2005 during his entire "segment" and he'll talk about how big of an advantage the home crowd is going to be. I say stuff it. :tongue2:

Why do you need one?

Anyway here is one.

Here is another.

And yet a third option.

Funnily enough they were three of the first five links that came up when I put "College Football Injuries" into Google.

Which is a wonderful thing for which Gore wishes he were responsible.

touchy touchy lol. easy big fella.

I know I am an old fucking guy and God only knows why I am posting here on the eve of this game but I realize the hype produced by ESPN, game day and all the shit that goes with it. I am just tired of all this BS. The whiteout, the 111,000 fans going nuts over this ONE GAME because its OHIOSTATE and they are NO.1 is getting to me and I hope the hell the BUCKEYES can go in there and be focused, Kick Ass, take names AND just keep pouring it to them. It would be different if they were undefeated and have some say in the outcome but they are up to play just for this one game and thats it. After that is doesn't mean a damn thing to them, other than the fact that they will have a chance to make History for JO-PA. Big fucking deal Penn State. Come on "BUCKEYES" lets settle this thing once and for all. Over and OUt. :grr::grr:

A guy at work today said too bad no one will see our game because the World Series was being played at the same time. I said I'd bet him lunch for a week that our game outdraws the World Series. Do I have a clue, or am I out a week of lunches here???

LOL, here's a laugh for everyone......

ESPN - NCAA 08 Forecast

Morelli- 16/29 for 253, 3 TDs and 3 INTs

ESPN.com said:
No. 22 Penn State forced two fourth-quarter turnovers, including an interception with less than a minute left in regulation, to secure a 27-23 upset win over top-ranked Ohio State at Beaver Stadium. Rallying late, the Buckeyes were set up for the go-ahead score, facing second-and-goal from the Penn State 4-yard-line with 27 seconds remaining, but Nittany Lions cornerback Justin King fully extended to snare quarterback Todd Boeckman's pass for the game-clinching interception. It was Boeckman's second interception in the fourth quarter, who had a forgettable day throwing 17-of-29 passes with 112 yards. Ohio State dropped to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the Big Ten, while Penn State improved to 7-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

First off, I HIGHLY doubt we'd be throwing the ball on 2nd & Goal at the PSU 4 yard line lol.

ESPN.com said:
Penn State trailed 16-10 at halftime, but pulled ahead in the third quarter on a 25-yard field goal by kicker Kevin Kelly and a 3-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Anthony Morelli to running back Matt Hahn. But the Buckeyes responded, reclaiming the lead on a 38-yard interception return by safety Anderson Russell late in the quarter to make it a 23-20 game. The Nittany Lions kept their composure and needed only three plays to regain the lead for good when running back Evan Royster caught a short pass from quarterback Morelli and scampered untouched for a 29-yard touchdown. Royster finished with a game-high 74 yards receiving to go with 48 rushing yards. Morelli threw for three touchdowns and 253 yards, making up for three first-half interceptions.

I definitely don't see Morelli throwing for 3 TDs in the game lol. Especially if he throws 3 INTs in the 1st half lol. Ahhh....I love ESPN lol. This just gives me more confidence.

Not nearly as funny as "3 yard TD reception by Matt Hahn," who is out for the season, or "38 yard interception return by Anderson Russell," who couldn't catch a cold. :wink2:

lol gotta love it
