Couple of things that I would have liked to have seen last night was less of the called runs for JT, especially when we have great talent in the backfield. I hate seeing JT take hits that could be avoided. The other thing last night that was a little odd, was either the lateness of getting the play call in or the formation and motion that cost us some timeouts and delay of games. Maybe this was just part of the youth of the team.Hats off to Tim Beck & Ed Warriner.
Those guys took a ton of heat last year for their play calling issues. They absolutely killed it last night. In my opinion they shut it down early, but I'm sure it was something Urban and then discussed at halftime. They gave multiple looks at different playmakers. It wasn't just a speed option or draw game - every single playmaker got in on something and kept the D confused.

Ohio State is quickly becoming WR U. I hope to hell we can keep Zach Smith another year.
Oh.. the moron officials gave them a 1.2% chance. I know that's hard to calculate. Luckily Mr Brown doesn't mind being interfered with. I think they called what, 1 holding call? (And it was on us, and a no brainer.. but that was the standard, you had to get beat then tackle the guy from behind.). Obviously as a fan you notice more stuff they miss that would be in your favor but, man they were terrible. I had an Illinois flashback on the kick return. That's just one computer's opinion.
I personally gave OU exactly 0.0% chance to beat Ohio State.
Interestingly, I did read their scout game thread. They were all bitching about the holding not being called too... That said, it was really bad and the officials did absoutely zero to bring it in line.I really hope that the BIG sanctions this crew just like the B12 did with the crew that f'd up the Okie St. game. There is no excuse for missing that review, let alone the facemasks and blatant holding that was occurring.....

I still need to know what people were smoking when they put Michigan that high. That's Urban Meyer/Nick Saban level respect that Harbaugh has done absolutely nothing to earn.Blue won't go undefeated. Way too many issues.
I think it is the booger eating thing to be honest...I still need to know what people were smoking when they put Michigan that high. That's Urban Meyer/Nick Saban level respect that Harbaugh has done absolutely nothing to earn.
Reminds of the failing upward of a certain OC now at Bama. Could never understand the HC gigs he obtained based on nothing...I still need to know what people were smoking when they put Michigan that high. That's Urban Meyer/Nick Saban level respect that Harbaugh has done absolutely nothing to earn.

Or by those still in the stands...During the second half, the best thing was being able to pick out the Buckeyes by those not crying.
Maybe the first gig but after that the results didn't justify the jobs he received although Monte was heck of a hole card...it wasn't based on nothing. It was based on his fathers coaching connections.
To be fair, Okie State is tough.
