I hate this game. Coming off a big win, they have stupid new uniforms, a black out.

They don't have much in terms of threats to stretch the field but they have Waddley and some good TE play. Stuff the run and score early and as it's been said shouldn't be a issue here

they have pretty much given up on the run if you look at it

it's more about pressuring the QB and otherwise shutting down their passing game

their inexperience at OT is going to be a problem for them

I assume so

Rush attempts per game Iowa is 77th in NCAA at 36 per game...probably because they are 105th in NCAA for YPC at 3.6

Then again they are 83rd for pass attempts per game with 29 but have a lot more success with 7.4 ypa, good for 48th in NCAA

so yeah, ferociously average but they pass better than they run

I believe I saw a graphic on BTN yesterday that said JT's 16 straight completions is tied for second all-time in the conference behind Chuck Long's 22 straight for Iowa in 1984, and I think that's for a single game. The current record for FBS for consecutive completions in a game is by Dominique Davis, East Carolina vs. Navy, Oct. 22, 2011. Davis also holds the record over multiple games with 36 straight (last 10 attempts vs Memphis the game before the aforementioned Navy game, in which he completed his first 26 attempts).
