Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey (2019 B1G Champions)

Don't look now, but I just switched over after watching Ocean's Eleven (the rat pack original of course) on TCM, and Bowling Green is leading 1 seed Minnesota-Duluth with 5 minutes left.

If we're out, I'm all in for that school full of chlamydia-ridden painted ladies. Something, something.....yea Ohio!

Bowling Green went down 2-1 in OT. Domers lost though, so there's that. Some more games today, but I'm not really feeling it. I'd stay interested if Minny, Wiscy or Sparty were playing or there was someone to root against (tsun, pedsters, domers, fredo of ohio), but....

So, when all was said and done, Fredo's "national search" ended up being a first day offer to BG's coach. I hardly think hiring an alum from a school in a decidedly lesser conference for twice his current salary screams TOP TEN JOB!

Bergeron is good though, so let's see if he can bring them back. That conference, however, is brutal, and there's a very good chance that they continue to be its twinkie for the foreseeable future. I know we can compete in the B1G with Rohlik (though next year will certainly be a bit of a rebuild) for conference championships and ncaa berths. Jury is still out on whether Fredo can do that in the NCHC.

Sorry for BG's loss too. Hope their next guy can build on the momentum he's inheriting.
