Game Thread Ohio State @ Rutgers, 09/30/17 @ 7:30 ET (BTN)

I don't remember saying that millennials were destroying the game....you have me confused with someone else.
that was mostly a tongue-in-cheek comment that wasn't directed at you, though someone else did claim that. however, it's a pretty common complaint that the targeting rules are "pussifying" the game. as i've said at least a couple times, this so-called pussifying of the game is 100% a necessary evil. forget possible impending lawsuits that bankrupt the game as we know it. that threat is not the major concern. living past the age of 50 without limited memories, trembling limbs, and stark depression is.

Thought the game plan sucked but oh well.. lol yeah just kidding we were awesome.

1. Good to see JT hit MULTIPLE deep throws. Hell even had one called back for offensive PI and had another dropped. He's getting better and better guys.

2. Ground game was good as usual but I was so excited to see Weber used correctly which was as short yardage back to get those tough yards.

3. Ben Victor is a monster in jump ball situations.... literally has caught 4 high points.

4. JT looked more dangerous running the ball because he was a threat to throw downfield. Once we hit a deep throw it was over from there.

5. No pass interferences! Just a solid game all the way around as far as penalties go.

6. Dline of course controlled the game.

7. Chris Ash looks done and over with this

Most complete game in a long time.
JT was simply marvelous in the passing game.
We saw what a threat this Offense can be if we hit the long ball.
Wilson is getting into the flow with the play calling.
Dixon had quite a game.
Surprised we didn't see more of Campbell
Happy for both Webber and McCall. Good to see them back and healthy.
Victor is a real red zone threat and becoming a deep ball threat. Wait till he matures.
Haskins locks in on his receivers. Against better Defenses he would throw a number of picks. No
where near ready to start.
DL was dominant. What I expected them to look like early on.
Booker had a coming out party. Nice to see. Wondering what has happened to Baker though.
DB's played stellar.
Nice to get a shutout
Tons of guys got to play.
Chrisum is a keeper.

Ash looked miserable but at least he's making a ton of money.

It'll take a while to fix Rutgers, I'm sure he knew that going in. He'll be financially set for the rest of his life, even if this doesn't work out - and it's way to early to tell
