Gators beat Arizona 3-0 for that first win. Last year we started out in the loser's bracket in the WCWS, which depletes pitching.

On to M*ch*g*n, who beat the Crimson Tahd in round one.

The Dawgs lost to Washington in Rnd 1. Ty Willingham was not available for comment.

Down 5-2 to Bama with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, Ali Gardner hit a walk-off grand slam to send top-seeded Florida to the CWS final, where they will face #3 seed Washington, who eliminated UGA 9-3 last night.

Congrats to young Miss Gardner on a dream-come-true moment. :bow:
