Might be the best (meaningless) game under Urban so far. I mean that offense looked like what I was expecting from the date he came home. Not to mention that the no name opposing QB didn't look like a damn All American against us for the first time that I can remember.
I mean..when you pull the red shirt freshman out because the game is over, and the true freshman go on in and add almost 30 more points...WOW!

you didn't miss much... kind of a blah game without anything overly spectacular to note. in fact, it was mostly just 3 yrds and a cloud of dust for the most part.

I thought this would be a statement game and it was. While bg is not top tier by any means this young Bickeye team came out and made it clear they are ready to compete. The depth of this team from a talent (not experience) perspective is beyond what I could have dreamed 5 years ago.

This team can be very scary if they don't get complacent and fix the mistakes they had today. Overall great game with a lot of players getting some PT. OL, WR's, RB's looked great JT caught on after a couple bad decisions. Only concern is the DL getting pressure on the QB. I imagine that being fixed up next 2 weeks. Also wish we had gotten a few FG attempts just for some experience for Durbin, however I won't complain too much.

Observation from today
1. Weber is stronger then Zeke but not as fast. 130 yards is a great start and remember even zeke didn't start this strong
2. Offensive line is in mid season form already opening lanes everywhere and really avoiding negative plays. Also kept JT cleanot
3. Our WR are deep and nasty and just imagine if Gibson wasn't suspended. Dixon, Brown, KJ Hill, Dontre, Baugh were all big today
4. We need to find a way to get JT to calm down early in the game. Two bad int in the spring game and now a horrible pick 6 these things need to be cleaned up. IMO it's just nerves
5. JT is back. JT spread the ball around and was really hard to defend because you never knew what he was going to do. For us to be successful that needs to continue. He was great other then that pick 6.
6. I'll go on a ledge... Hooker is the best safety we've had since Mike Doss. PHYSICAL but yet so fast. They compared him to Ed Reed on the broadcast and boy I agree
7. Joey Bosa. He will start or be a partial starter by Oklahoma. Quick and strong he was disrupting multiple plays.
8. Health. I didn't see Booker for almost 4 quarters and obviously Sprinkle went down with an injury as well. At least the players behind our starters have just as much experience.
