I think that the way this team struggled will do a lot to help them in coming weeks. When I hear this bloody Heisman chatter about two players, I always wonder if kids don't start believing that they walk on water. Coming after a blowout shutout last week, this may be exactly what this team needs.

Barrett had his worst game this year. So, did the O line. The wind was only 15 mph during the game, so it wasn't all that bad. So, the coaching staff also need to think a bit harder about their game plan and the play calling. I would have loved to see the final touchdown, but they won better than it looked like they might for many stretches in the game.

Good night!

I noticed the one ref by the IU sideline was a former Head official in the B1G. But he seems to have been demoted. But the L judge is the one with the bad spot and fumble "recovery" call. And I am not a big fan of ref criticism, but holy hell. On to the next one...

IU drive log after their TD to begin the half:

3 plays, -3 yards
3 plays, 0 yards
3 plays, 1 yard
4 plays, 7 yards
4 plays, 5 yards
3 plays, 12 yards.

That's 20 plays for 22 yards and 1 first down on the last possession.

Total TOP on those 6 possessions: 6:30

Missed most of the game but from what I could tell we ran the ball well, we still continuously put our defense in bad spots, and once again a clunker throwing the ball.

To me it seems like we start every game by trying to go down the field on teams. How about for once we throw some easy passes so JT can find his groove for once? Everytime he drops back its a 5 step drop with him surveying the field. Just save that for later in the game once he has completed 4 of 5 for like 50-60 yards.

Very concerning to see the numbers JT put up today. We need Noah to step up and while I'm sure he's still a step slow we need him to be our go to guy
