Fuck the turtles is probably good enough. I agree, though. This is my chance to see them live this year and I want to see a spectacular ass kicking.

Off topic: I had a huge memo typed up to post here regarding 11W, but out of respect for Ramzy, DJ, Jason and Co. I’ve decided to remove it. But man, I wish you guys would check your mods, contributors, and editing over there. It’s heading for ‘straight garbage’ territory without a doubt and it kills me.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for you guys, but yeah. Whatever. I’ve been drinking. Cheers.

Happens with every crisis and loss. The mods stick to a handful of disqualifiers to address what gets edited and in rarer cases, what gets deleted. They’re tasked with being unemotional about what they’re moderating, while dealing with their own emotions about whatever crisis/loss OSU is dealing with.

Don’t want to be the site that just erases all the shit it doesn’t like. We all have the right to our shitty opinions; they just can’t break a small handful of rules we have. I barely post in forums anywhere because a) they’re largely just awful and b) I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a spot on a highly-trafficked OSU sports editorial calendar for 22 years now so if I have anything I want to say I can just do it there. For a lot of fans though, that shitpost is their outlet. It’s the only platform they have for an otherwise exceptional or exceptionally disappointing life. I hope our mods mod with empathy. And I always appreciate criticism, hate mail and rotten tomatoes - it has always helped me enormously.
