Game Thread Ohio State vs TCU (Arlington, TX) - 09/15/18, 8:00PM (ABC)

We’ll need more out of Dobbins and Weber if we are to score 40 plus.
We could have ran the ball more but when as a team you go 30-33 passing there's no need. I would've agreed with you last year but this offense doesn't need to force anything to get 40 points.

We just need to take what the defense gives us and we will be fine. Rutgers aligned themselves inside every down and dared us to throw the ball in the rain. It didnt matter.

This could be a real statement game for us. If we can beat these guys handily it will go a long way in showing where this team is at and how it has progressed since last year. Is it Saturday yet?

The team knows this as well... IMO the buckeyes are going to kick the door down and announce themselves loud and clear as a top 2 team.

Can't wait for this game and I can't wait for PED either.

Ummm.. Just checked the TCU front 7 height and weight.

DE- 6'4 249
DT- 6'2" 290
DT- 6' 294
DE- 6'2" 235
LB- 6'2 206
LB-6'2 212
LB- 6'1 220

Uh.... that's small. Thats the smallest front I can recall playing against. Holy shit. How will they manage against 6'6 315 average of an OL? They'll obviously be very quick so pass pro is key off the edges but boy can we lean on this team.

These are listed weights. So best case scenario, TCU's second level will be manned by 3 guys the size of Nate Salley, worst case the size of Darron Lee while he redshirted.

That should end well against 3 OL that are over 305 lbs. It's going to look like those ridiculous highlights from their high school days where they were 100 lbs bigger and 6" taller than everyone.
