Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Nailed it!

Definitely nailed it and I was thinking the same thing. Smith and Romero got me jumping out of my chair, they both cam up huge in the 3rd. The bar I was at to watch it definitely realized college wrestling is a thing lol. Wish Rocky could have won, but really it was a great dual. Sasso got revenge and looks amazing, plus Romero and Smith looked great. Also a very convincing win for Pletcher. Coach Ryan is maximizing this team right now...if we had Hayes at 157 and Singletary at heavy, I legit thing we would be right there with Iowa in tournaments.

The Sasso win was obviously huge and there is no doubt he should be #1 when the new rankings come out but the other big moments for me were the Romero last second take down and Ethan Smith with the big major win to set the tone after Cleary got blanked. And Minnesota really has to be disappointed they didn't get a tech out of Gable. Was nice to see Decatur have a big night as well. I don't even talk about Pletcher or Moore anymore because it's just a given they are going to dominate night in and night out. Really wish Heinselman could figure out a way to finish...he gets so many shots in but can't seem to finish anything. Still really impressed with how Rocky Jordan has performed the last few weeks but his struggles on bottom are well documented and were again last night. Gonna try to make it to Covelli on Friday night for the Maryland dual.

Malik is just still too small. He gets in on shots routinely and just gets flattened out on bottom once his opponent puts weight on him. Not sure he'll get to the size he needs to be too seriously compete.
