That was pathetic...simply pathetic.

Ohio State deserves to be ranked ahead of Penn State just for how bad that was...both of those teams deserve a loss.

That may be one of the worst college football games i've ever seen...it was exciting, but just because it was close...but the penalties, bad passes, confused defenses, missed assignments, missed kicks, and poor blocking. WOW...that's just pathetic.

I am now embarassed that we lost to Penn State. Wow!

I wonder what our chances are of jumping PSU in the polls. You'd figure that they should stay ahead of us with the better record and beating us head-to-head, but after the way we pounded #5 Notre Dame yesterday and with how close PSU was played by #22 FSU...

I don't like to pump myself up, but I thought this game was the absolute "LOCK" of the post-season. I wish I had more $$ to bet on it. The boys in Vegas know what they are doing. The fact that the bets here were like 275,000 to 8000 in favor of PSU made it that much easier. When a majority that big goes one way, always go the other way. Peace.

I bet it will be close...many will think our blowout of Saint Weis and the struggle tonight clearly make us the choice. Others will look at the loss totals and the game earlier in the season (heck, the first half the season).

I guess it really doesn't matter anyway, neither will be #1,Penn State won't pass either team tomorrow to get #2, and we all know who the better team is at the conclusion of the season, so oh well.

I think that the rankings should reflect the current position of the teams. We had Troy Smith for a couple of games but I think everyone realizes that our offense had not settled by the time we played Penn State.

I think we will be ranked ahead of them and, if Texas does what I think they will, possibly ahead of USC or at least darn close.

I can't see a scenerio that places us over PSU in the final polls. They are 11-1. We're 10-2. They beat us. Period. Coulda, shoulda, woulda nothing. There's no place for that in this game. The playoffs start in August. You gotta win and win now. We didn't, they did. Hat's off to them.

I can see PSU jumping the loser of the Rose Bowl Game. Don't ask me why. I can just see the Joe Pa love fest continuing. They will have similar "1 loss" records and PSU won their bowl game. And you'll hear and see things like "and Joe Pa was able to stop FSU's offense without Bednarik Award winner Posluzny at the end who left with a knee injury."
