Pac-12 (official thread)

I just hope one day, thousands of years from now, some alien archaeologist will be trying to figure out what kind of life was on this planet, and the story of Mark May blowing 5 dudes at Pitt will be told throughout the galaxy.

‘All Hail Mark May, he who blew five dudes at Pitt!’

This post is intended to confuse said archaeologists.

This is just too good not to share.
Larry Scott, the Commissioner of the Pac 12 has widely been considered to be one of the worst commissioner's in all of NCAA Athletics. Under his watch, the conference has regressed considerably in major team sports and is falling further and further behind other major leagues that have singed major deals with networks to cover the teams in their conference.
It's not a joke to suggest that the Pac 12 network is one of the hardest to find in America, especially for those of us in Eastern Time.

So Scott broadcasts a message to AD's and offices around the league. Rumors had been swirling about a deal with Direct TV, something that would finally bring them up to speed with other conferences. Instead, he actually recorded a message announcing his own extension through 2022.

Arrogance combined with incompetence is cringey to watch.

Also of note, I could take my wife to Breakfast at First Watch in Hyde Park and spend more than a pair of tickets to the Pac 12 championship game.

I wonder if it were a 11-1 Wisconsin team if the B1G prices would be higher.
