Penn State at tOSU, Sat. 10/21, 12pm EST, FOX

Is it possible that James Franklin, Manny Diaz, and Mike Yurcich have created a undefeated and 7th ranked Penn State team that’s capable of winning the Big Ten and competing for a national championship? It’s possible. It’s also possible that I have a fire breathing, 2 headed flying dragon captured and caged up in my garage.

Look, anything can happen in the Penn State game but usually it ends with the Buckeyes winning, regardless of how ugly a game it was. Penn State’s strength of schedule is almost as bad as Michigan’s. I expect Penn State to put up a fight but ultimately they’ll make too many mistakes, either on the field or on the sideline.

Penn State CB Kalen King 'excited' for October battle with Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is widely considered the best wide receiver in college football. He’s a projected first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and Penn State cornerback Kalen King looks forward to facing him. The Nittany Lions defensive back is one of the nation’s best players at his position, setting up an intriguing clash between stars Oct. 21 in one of the Big Ten's biggest games.

“I’m very excited to go up against him,” King said, via Max Chadwick of Pro Football Focus. “Marvin Harrison Jr. is a very good player. He’s got all the intangibles from size, speed, catch radius and run after catch. That’s the perfect challenge for me, and that’s the challenge I need to put myself up against if I want to be the top in the country. That matchup is very important, and I can’t wait for it.”

Covering Harrison one-on-one was a burden for defensive backs last season, but King isn’t shying away from the potential of it happening in 2023.

“I’m going to try and work something out,” King said.
