There's Mack Daddy, Detective Mack Daddy and Pissed Mack Daddy that I have seen so far, they all seem to be the same individual, posting from a trailer in rural pennsylvania.

I wonder what percentage of the board's storage space is taken up by his sigs.

Sadly, an OSU professor wrote this piece of trash in the Chronicle of Higher Education this morning:

http://chronicle.com/blogs/innovations/the-penn-state-scandal-revisited/33727

Which includes this gem of a statement:

One sentiment that I have heard from a few of the pundits on the radio is that the real perpetrators of the crime are not being punished, but everyone else is by the sanctions the NCAA has handed down. Including but not limited to the fans, the players, the shop owners, etc. This whacked out sentiment is beginning to piss me off and I have come closer than ever to calling in and lambasting these assholes.

No, they haven't.

And from where I sit, PSU wasn't punished for criminal behavior.

They were punished for the coverup.

They were punished for allowing the football coach to effectively run all day to day operations for the entire university.

They were punished for not having any legitimate oversight of said football coach.

They were punished for not having any compliance department - not even a token, puppet office to fulfill the requirement.

They were punished for arrogantly thumbing their nose at the NCAA for so long, proudly proclaiming they had never been cited for a single NCAA violation, when everyone in town knew they were guilty. Not being punished does not equate to innocence.

Sure, it's painful for the fans and the current players. It sucks for them. But the NCAA HAD to come down hard on the University and the football program. They had to send a message to all the other colleges and universities and their administrators that if they are caught participating in a coverup, the NCAA will crush them. A slap on the wrist would've told everyone that it's allowable.

The thing that pisses me off is that a large amount of the PSU fanbase doesn't get it. Hopefully the NCAA will do a little more digging and increase the penalties in the future.

At first I thought what the NCAA did was good enough, but now I realize it isn't enough to change the culture. Kids got raped and everyone that could do something about it either did nothing or knowingly stopped others from doing anything. What is so hard to understand?

I can't wait for the next PSU fan to start spouting off how great JoePed was in front of me.

Re: OMG! Just listened to the Lubrano & Slaton interview Reply
You missed a big one... Mr. Tony Lubrano pointed out that the BOT's own Ken Frazier is the one that recruited Freeh based on a previous case with Merck that Freeh had done (Vioxx). So Ken is directly responsible for letting the fox into the hen house.

Re: ONE THING MADE CLEAR TO ME, Penn State is small potatoes compared to tOSU..Reply Ohio State and Michigan have been terrified of Penn State since the announcement to join was made, and the league office has never been nothing more than their personal secretarial pool. The other schools were to cowered from decades of toiling on the Buckverine Plantation that they no longer had any fight in them. They wanted Penn State for our national reputation, JoePa's clean reputation and our recruiting footprint, but they were scared that we would come in at the height of our powers and DOMINATE! The game was cooked from the beginning. We've had two decades of it from the rotten officiating, curious scheduling and worst of all the unforgivable voting in 1994. Imagine if Joe had been awarded his rightful national championship in 1994. It could have launched a decade long dominance where no school could have come close to touching us.

Fast forward to this Spring, and don't think for one minute that Ohio State and Michigan and their 8 robots didn't lobby hard and fierce to cut BOB off at the knees before he could get things rolling.

When we have our new leadership in place, one of the first things on the agenda needs to be a serious reconsideration of our continued second class citizen status in this corrupt league.

I'd be seriously concerned over fan safety when OSU rolls into Happy Valley this year. I hope I'm wrong, but there is going to a nut job somewhere in that sea of Nits that will make history (or infamy)
There was a post a few days back stating that the NCAA will be responsible when other schools heap on verbal abuse and "force" Penn Staters to defend themselves with physical violence.

You think they're nuts now, just wait until the losing starts. I can already see them saying the ncaa/B1G has instructed the referees to cause them to lose games. It wouldn't surprise me if they start thinking Corch Benny O'Beanfart is in on some massive conspiracy by mid-October.
