Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Last year's Syracuse team could and probably would beat this year's Penn State team. They lost too much for me to have any faith in them.
EMU, no.
UCF I'm not sure about. There's 100 little Florida schools down there and one of them is supposed to be good. Is this them?
Kent St, no.
@ Indiana I could see happening.
Michigan should kill them.
We better kill them.
Anybody thinking they know what Illinois is going to do is fooling themselves......and that sentence applies in the middle of the season.
@ Minny....I dunno, maybe.
Purdue can beat them.
Nebraska should be a loss.
@ Wisconsin.....those fuckers better be ruthless to end their season on a perfect note.

So there are 4 games there where I would be surprised if they weren't Ls. Indiana, Minny, & Purdue might make Christmas come early. I don't have much faith in anything else. Hopefully their QB situation is more of a mess than anticipated and they drop them all.

Fuckers.

I think their season sets up very nicely. A lot of pre-season delusion followed by a few cupcake wins, and they'll be talking national championship. Then, when they get their ass handed to them in Big Ten games, the collapse, meltdown and speeracy theories will be priceless.

:slappy: it's funny because it's so completely true. Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Wisconsin didn't kick our asses because they're better than we are.....it's that Satan spawn Delaney keeping us down because he's jealous of St Joe!!!

I dunno about 11 - 1, but

Aug. 31 vs. Syracuse (at New Meadowlands Stadium; East Rutherford, N.J.) - 3:30 p.m.
Sept. 7 - EASTERN MICHIGAN - 12 p.m.
Sept. 14 - CENTRAL FLORIDA - 6 p.m.
Sept. 21 - KENT STATE
Oct. 5 at Indiana
Oct. 12 - MICHIGAN - 5 p.m.
Oct. 26 at Ohio State - 8 p.m.
Nov. 2 - ILLINOIS
Nov. 9 at Minnesota
Nov. 16 - PURDUE
Nov. 23 - NEBRASKA
Nov. 30 at Wisconsin

I read somewhere recently that the over/under on PSU wins this year was 8.5. I'd be betting the under on that one--I don't see any way they beat Michigan, OSU, Nebraska or Wisconsin. Even if they got lucky and hit on one of those, they'd have to run the table elsewhere, and I don't see that happening--as I could see them losing at Indiana, vs. Purdue or vs. UCF.

UCF and KSU can reasonably win even though I have them down as losing to the Pedsters. Minnesota could very well win, also...

When we start 5-0, the NCAA and the Big10 will order the officials to make sure we lose to scUM and tOSU. With neutral officials, we'd beat both of those teams. The JoePa jealousy continues!!!! FACTS!!!! EVIDENTS!!!!!

All knowledge flowed from Pa Joe Il and his teachings. That is why it remains of primary importance that the legacy of Pa Joe Il be restored for only then can the teachings of Pa Joe Il continue. Pa Joe Il, who single-handedly transformed insignificant farm college into nation's best public university.

This is why the memory of Pa Joe Il still brims in the hearts of those in Happiest of Vallies: from oldest man on mountain who understands not such things as electronic mail or rape between man and boy and youngest, smoothest boy in valley who will soon bask in a shower of Pa Joe Il's teachings.

Compete, absolutly. Win, yes; but we if we're close to upsetting (nice sentence construction there, Ricky) either the ref's will get involved and make sure is next to impossible for us to pull it off. We will have to overcome much this year and the next few....................

Everything is a conspiracy over there, except the conspiracy between JoPa, the President, the AD, The VP for campus security, the assistant coaches...
