PG/SG Amedeo Della Valle (AX Armani Exchange Milano - Italy)

If his emotion is okay with Craft, it is okay with me.

Amedeo Della Valle scored 11 points against Wisconsin on Saturday and gave the Buckeyes spark off the bench, but he also needs to keep his game under control and not go too crazy when he gets rolling a bit. "There's never an excuse for turnovers or poor decisions, but that's what Amedeo does. What you saw on Saturday is what he does every day in practice, so it's no surprise to any of us," Craft said. "He's a great shooter and when his confidence is up, you always think when he shoots it it's going to go in. Sometimes he lets the emotion get the best of him, but I'd rather have that than a guy who's not getting excited.

Play the guy already!!!!

Easily one of the best shooters on the team. This team doesnt lack defensive guys it lacks any semblance of a scoring threat outside of Ross but he gets out of control trying to take over.

ADV has been playing 10 min almost every game since 2/15 (other than 0 vs MSU).

This was his first game with a made basket since 2/15 (6 missed 3's).

Glad to see him step up and have a big game, but the notion that he's wasting away on the bench isn't very supportable. It's also odd to ding Ross for getting out of control when that's ADV's biggest weakness.

I saw the reports that Amedeo has been sitting out of practices lately as he has been affected by a bone bruise for several weeks. So that kind of explains how he could have that great game against Wisconsin and then kind of disappear. Amedeo is one late get by Matta that has been worth a scholarship, as he clearly has helped this team get at least two big wins this season, at Wisky and now vs. Nebraska.

Maybe but Ross is has more offensive fouls than any player I can ever remember in any level of basketball. Energy is there for both guys it just seems Ross' energy sometimes makes him a bull in a china shop where ADV starts to turn it over. Neither is a good thing. Just having that second guy on the floor as a threat makes offensive plays happen. When the other team has no fear of any other shooter, it makes things very tough on Ross.

Today, for example, Scott has shot the ball very well and it's opened things up for some slashing moves and more open jumpers. I'm for anyone who can really provide a spark.

Thanks for that info.
