LMAO. You wont believe it, but the most recent ESPN magazine in stores has Michigan at #2 with OSU and Notre Dame bringing up the rear at #7 & #8.

Wow, didn't know there were this many jealous Buckeye fans out there.

Relax guys, just because Michigan is CB U and we usually have 1 lockdown CB on our team- from Law, to Woodson, to M-Jack, to Hall- doesn't mean y'all should be jealous. You guys have had some nice corners too. Especially that midget. What's his face? Antone Sumthin?

How is Michigan CB U?

Think about how many DBs we have in the league right now (2 were named top 5):

-Chris Gamble (ESPN rated him #4 best in the NFL, 1 week ago)
-Shawn Springs (ESPN rated him #2 best in the NFL, 1 week ago)
-Donnie Nickey
-Dustin Fox
-Will Allen
-Mike Doss
-Nate Clements
-Ahmed Plummer
-Antoine Winfield
-Nate Salley
-Donte Whitner
-Ashton Youboty

Now, if I were to add in the LB's as part of the defensive backfield, it could only get worse...

I think that you sell yourselves short. I mean, year after year, those lock-down corners just kill us. How are we supposed to compete with the levels of courtesy and politeness they show? It's not like you can really school these kids to get out of the way of people in a greater hurry than they are, it takes inate skill as well...

Personally, I am quite tired of Gonzales and Smith taking all the credit for "the Catch"...your corners played their part as well and deserve their share of the credit!

Year after year, what can we do but admit, we're just not up to snuff in the courtesy sweepstakes. And, let's be honest, they don't quit...look at them back there, running to congratulate Gonzales on his touchdown: Michigan Cornerbacks Markus Curry (30) and Leon Hall (29) Pursue the Ohio State Receiver on the Touchdown Reception and Run.

You can't teach good sportsmanship like that!

sadly the UM strategy to grab and hold hasn't worked so well recently...

Holmes was not stopped in the last 3 matchups with the overrated UM secondaries, twice against Mr. Lockdown M-Jack :lol:
