Please Dominate Me, and Talk Dirty

It worked out just fine. We used beat on the Pac10 regularly as early season tuneups in the 70s-80s, and I'd like to see it re-instituted.

I'd rather see my Bucks kick sand in the faces of Cardinals, Ducks, Bears, Cougars or Huskies, etc, etc, etc, with regularity like the good 'ol days..... rather than bully the helpless. Bullying the helpless Pee Wee teams somehow makes me feel dirty....like picking on the retarded.

As we go forward, it might also be fun kicking sand in the face of a few Big East pretender-contenders:)

In no way is this a "beat 'em up" game. I look to Washington to start making headway (of course after Ty gets fired this year).

You can't change threads and expect to be safe from touting your uneducated thoughts of how D1AA is a lesser division. Ask Montana and North Dakota about that (if you even get the reference :roll1:)

What does FNS stand for?

F'n Cheerleader Squad?

How can you people be happy about watching our beloved buckeyes scheduling Pee Wee teams to prepare themselves for the BigTen schedule?

How does beating midget programs prepare our team for big games?

IMO..... not even the MidMajors are worthy, let alone....tiny community schools.

I was only making the point that Huskies are a worthy "tuneup".

(as opposed to scheduling helpless halflings like YSU)

This is a bittersweet game for those who know the history of this game...
1. The coaches old champions vs us
2. This is YSU's statement game before coming to D1A
3. Wanting not to see an Ohio team get blown out.

My only question is how do I view this game, from any output (not because the size of the school, but because I want both to show up and play balls out).

WTF, IDK what FNS is?

This isn't NCAA Football 08.

Because here in reality, you can't schedule 4 OOC games against top-10 teams.

There are plenty of benefits to playing Ohio mid-majors beyond a 'W', but I doubt those would matter to you.

That's possibly the worst joke I've heard all year, and I've been foolish enough to watch SNL many times this year.

How can you come here and make derogatory posts on scheduling when you dont even know what Division we are scheduling. I will give it to you, probably half the people know that everyting has changed to the FBS and FCS (you can google that shit for yourself) (I am hoping I am wrong and its more than half) but those same people probably wouldnt be talking all this crap like a straight up ignorant newbie.

So playing a Texas every game is going to prepare us better than playing NIU for example? While it may be more interesting and competitive is it really realistic to expect us to compete playing top-tier schools all season? That would drain our players and cause many more attrition issues. Also it would almost eliminate the possibility of playing in the Championship games because for us to not lose 1 or more games would be VERY VERY difficult if not impossible.

Playing a halfling program like YSU will do nothing to truly show the Buckeyes where they really stand in their preparation for the BigTen schedule.

Do we really want to be like KSU and VT(and others) who schedule a bunch of bums for OOC games? Then when the big games finally arrive, we fold like a busted up tent because we were untested?

I'm not suggesting a steady diet of national powerhouse OOC opponents, but worthy 'middle of the pack' BCS conference opponents would do much more to prepare the team for the meat of the TEN schedule.
